The Cellar of the Month: Interview with Marcello Lunelli
‘We have a special relationship with Enoteca Properzio’
The Lunelli family has a true passion for wine excellence, in harmony with nature and characterized by refinement as well as authenticity.
This is a company, as explained by Marcello Lunelli, head of the production of Cantine Ferrari and Tenute Lunelli, “which we call family”, precisely because behind the entire production chain “there is a family that wants to keep the human side of things. In fact, we always aim to respect the territory and collaborate with the locals, and I think we can see that in our wines”.
Because of this reason, Lunelli added: “we immediately found ourselves in tune with Roberto Angelini, whose wine shop has now become one of the most important sales channels for us in the area. We feel honored to carry on a relationship that I define as special”.
“With Enoteca Properzio there is a real sharing of values. These are values – he specified – that one does not see very often. The wine shop used to be a meeting place to transfer and transmit culture and the tradition of the wine and the territory. This still happens in the Angelini family’s wine shop, where the human relationships between people is certainly not lacking”.
History and tradition, innovation and elegance, as well as the continuous search for quality, are the basis for the work of the Lunelli Group, which over the years has established itself as an undisputed success at an international level: from the famous Trentodoc Ferrari to the famous wines produced by the cellars in Trentino, Umbria and Tuscany.
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sagrantino di Montefalco, Sangiovese or – among the various productions – Passito are just some of the ‘works of art’ created by Tenute Lunelli and through which you can taste the passion resulting from years of work, dedication and professionalism.
